Liam Wilson will be looking to continue his rise up the super featherweight rankings when he takes on Matias Rueda in Brisbane this week.

The young Australian avenged the only loss of his professional career by stopping Joe Noynay in the second round in March.

Also on the card are Tokyo Olympian Paulo Aokuso, women’s bantamweight star Shannon O’Connell and former rugby league greats Justin Hodges and Ben Hannant.

Here’s everything you need to know about the event:

When is Wilson vs. Rueda?

The fight will take place on Wednesday, June 29.

It’s been a busy first half of the year for Australian boxing and it just keeps coming with this one.

A few days later, on the road to the Gold Coast, Jai Opetaia takes on Mairis Briedis for the IBF world heavyweight title.

Where is Wilson versus Rueda?

No Limit will return to Brisbane for the first time since March when Nikita Tszyu made his professional debut with a second-round knockout of Aaran Stahl.

Wilson also featured on that card, stopping Noynay in devastating fashion.

This event was originally scheduled to take place at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Center until flooding in the city forced a postponement and change of venue.

This time around, No Limit hopes the show at the Palais des Congrès et des Expositions will go off without a hitch.
