The time spent watching television programs on smartphones increased to 85.2 minutes in March, 61.8 minutes in April and 56.1 minutes in May after 109 minutes in January and February.
The ratio of internet users who watched TV programs via smartphones more than once a month rose to 71.3% in February from 70.9% in January.
That ratio, however, slipped to 64.2% in March and continued its downward trend, falling to 36.6% in June, half the 70.1% recorded a year ago.
Time spent using smartphones fell from 8,038 minutes in March to 7,335.2 minutes in June. That figure was down 6.1% from last year’s 7,808.9 minutes.
