freshman comedy Abbott Elementary School gave Tuesday’s top headlines FBI and It’s us a run for their money with its Season 1 finale.
By Fast Affiliates, Abbott Elementary School earned a 0.6 rating in the 18-49 demo and 2.82 million viewers. The comedy tied its season highs and tied in the demo with FBI (0.6, 7.12M), which was the most watched program of the night. The ABC series was also just a tenth behind the ratings winner’s final episode. It’s us on NBC (0.7, 4.36M).
While not necessarily up to the drama, AbbottThe final helped close the gap from the previous week. Abbott Elementary School also corresponded to its first numbers. The comedy, which broke ratings growth records for ABC throughout its first year, will return for a second season.
These three titles were the best performing shows from their respective networks for the evening.
Also, Tuesday’s prime time seemed fairly regular. At the same time as FBI, Judge Steve Harvey (0.5, 3.43M) came second and beat the resident (0.4, 3.05M), Young Rock (0.4, 2.23M) and Superman and Lois (0.1, 0.40M). Mr. Mayor (0.3, 1.58 M) increased slightly.
