SUN TV Network launches general Marathi entertainment channel, SUN Marathi

Viewers in the Marathi TV space are set to rejoice in this festive season as Sun TV Network Limited launched its new Marathi GEC “SUN Marathi” on October 17 across Maharashtra.

The channel’s slogan is
‘Sohala Natyancha’ resulting in
“Celebrating Relationships”. True to its signature, the channel announces 3 hours of original programming with 6 shows from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Each of these shows explores unique relationships in their storyline. The advertised shows are ‘
Nandini’ at 6:30 p.m.,
Sundari‘ at 19 ‘o clock,
‘Jaau nako hard..baba!’ at 7:30 p.m.,
‘Abhalachi Mayan’ at 20 hours ,
‘Kanyadaan’ at 8:30 p.m. and
‘Sant Gajanan Shegaviche‘ at 9 pm.

The channel not only brings this stellar lineup of shows to its viewers, but also announced ‘
Bagha Roj Jinka Rokh’ (Watch Daily, Win Cash) which provides an opportunity for over 1,000 viewers every day to win up to 2 crore in cash prizes from Dusshera to Diwali. Each day for the duration of the competition, a question will be asked in each of the six shows and viewers will have to give a missed call to register their answers on the numbers provided.

The stories of the shows take place in different regions of Maharashtra. By virtue of this diversity, these shows reflect the lifestyle and culture of both urban and rural Maharashtra.
