Punjab government decides to restore PTI programs including health card

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pervaiz Elahi headed the Punjab government on Wednesday and decided to reinstate the health card schemes, Panahgah and Langar Khana, after Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) returned to the province.

PTI President and former Prime Minister Imran Khan chaired the important party meeting, during which he congratulated the legal team for the recent Supreme Court of Pakistan.

Sources with knowledge of the matter said that Imran Khan assumed the leadership of the party in confidence after consulting Punjab CM Pervaiz Elahi, while the final decision was taken to hand over the post of Speaker of the Assembly of the Punjab to Sibtain Khan.

Speaking at the meeting, Imran Khan mocked the incumbent government, saying the looting groups have devastated the state of the economy.

The masses have woken up as they have shown in the Punjab partial polls, Imran added.

The former Prime Minister claimed that the country now knows who is supporting the truth and who is telling lies.

Sharing his thoughts on the Supreme Court’s verdict on the reversal of the Vice President’s decision, Imran Khan said that SC ruled in accordance with the constitution and the law.
