Packers TV Network welcomes John Kuhn to the broadcast booth

Ahead of the Green Bay Packers’ preseason debut this week, the team announced that former Packers fullback John Kuhn would move to the broadcast booth as a color analyst.

Kuhn, who played nine seasons in Green Bay, was a key member of teams that won Super Bowl XLV and five division titles. A native of York, Pa., Kuhn began his career with the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2005 and was waived by Green Bay in 2007, where he went on to earn three Pro Bowl selections (2011, 2014-15). He ended his career playing two seasons (2016-17) with the New Orleans Saints and officially retired as a Packer in 2019.

Throughout his playing career, Kuhn developed an interest in media and broadcast and in 2019 he joined the Packers as a sports analyst, contributing content to the digital, broadcast and game presentation department. of the Packers. Since 2019, he has also been a secondary analyst for the Packers Radio Network and the Packers TV Network.

Kuhn also spent time hosting and co-hosting a variety of radio and live sports programs, including co-hosting a weekday show on Packers Radio Network Milwaukee’s flagship station WRNW FM, 97.3 The Game.

Kuhn will team up with play-by-play announcer Kevin Harlan for pre-season broadcasts, as well as Lance Allan providing pre-game and sideline reports.

The Green Bay Packers are partnered with 21 affiliate television stations in Wisconsin, Upper Michigan, Illinois, Iowa, Missouri, North Dakota, South Dakota, Alaska and Nebraska to provide television programming for Packers fans.

The partnership includes airing of Family Night, Packers preseason games and television shows including Packers Live and Total Packers with Matt LaFleur, as well as other programming.
