Georgia Football-Auburn Match Time, TV Network Announced for Week 6 Game

Georgian football now know the start time for their next home fixture, with The Deep South’s Oldest Rivalry set to kick off at 3.30pm. CBS will broadcast the game.

The Bulldogs are 4-0 and are the No. 1 team in the nation. They are coming off a 39-22 win over Kent State last weekend.

Auburn, meanwhile, is 3-1 after beating Missouri at home last weekend. The Tigers were eliminated at home to Penn State for their only loss of the season.

Georgia will face those same Missouri Tigers this week, with the game starting at 7:30 p.m. ET in Columbia, Missouri. The SEC Network will broadcast this game.

Since the Bulldogs haven’t played up to their standard against Kent State, Georgia will be eager to hit the practice field and prove they’re better than their last performance.

“We’ve really been talking about growth all week,” Georgia coach Kirby Smart said after the win over Kent State. “I was very pleased with how our guys approached practice, games and leadership. I was really proud of how we came out in the second half and got a three and then the offense had a great drive all the way through but just didn’t concede for a touchdown. We had costly penalties and turnovers that hurt us.

“But our team improved today.”

Georgia’s two least impressive performances this season have come at home, with the Bulldogs being a much more dominant road team this season.

Georgia beat Auburn 34-10 last season when the game was played at Auburn. Smart is 6-1 as a head coach against Auburn, with the only loss coming in 2017.

The Tigers face LSU this week, a key rivalry game that could be huge for Bryan Harsin’s future. Bruce Feldman of The Athletic reported on Saturday that Harsin’s job security is shaky at best at the moment. That was before a nasty 17-14 overtime win over Missouri, where Auburn didn’t even win the game but Missouri lost it.
