The sports betting space continues to grow in the United States, and one of the giants is expanding its presence in a growing media market. According to Catena Media’s Legal Sports Report, FanDuel continues its evolution into a sports media company with the first “watch and bet” television network in the United States.
FanDuel TV is set to launch in September, providing a 24-hour content network featuring studio programming and live sports.
As part of the renaming of its TVG horse racing channel to FanDuel TV, the company plans to make TVG2 FanDuel Racing and the TVG OTT app would become FanDuel+. The TVG horse racing betting website and app should not undergo any changes.
FanDuel TV will include a range of selected FanDuel talent and influencer partners hosting shows covering sports and games of interest. Sports betting will be part of the discussion, along with sports news and features that engage and entertain fans. Additional live races and cuts with sports updates will continue throughout the day.
Initial talent reports include the FanDuel “More Ways to Win” team, Bill Simmons & The Ringer as well as Pat McAfee, who has a very popular radio show and YouTube channel and is a FanDuel Sportsbook partner on The Pat McAfee Show.

While no announcements have been made regarding the signing of talent deals and betting rights, documents reviewed by Legal Sports Report indicate that former Good Morning Football host Kay Adams will host a new show. SportsCenter style as part of FanDuel’s morning talent lineup.
Mike Raffensperger, who signed Pat McAfee as a media partner and was instrumental in the huge growth of FanDuel, was recently promoted to Chief Commercial Officer of FanDuel Group. He will assume oversight of FanDuel’s content and programming assets, including TVG, while being responsible for the company’s strategy to capitalize on the emergence of legal sports betting and online gaming.
FanDuel currently holds a leading position in sports betting and it is growing after capturing a 36% share of online gaming gross revenue in the US online sports betting market in 2021. FanDuel is a dominating leader in the online sports betting space in New York since its launch in January 2022.
The gambling boom and interest in sports betting and engagement with fans is getting even bigger than expected. FanDuel even creates more ways to win and FanDuel TV is the next launch to generate more interest and engagement in the sport.
